One school, a century of purpose

Established in 1907 as an Anglo-Indian school in the erstwhile Nizam State, Railway Mixed High School has been providing quality education for over a century — helping students learn, grow and achieve their goals. Today, under the management of South Central Railway, it is one of the largest and most respected schools on Indian Railways.

The school offers a vibrant, student-friendly environment with well-furnished classrooms, a well-stocked library, and computer, biology, physics and tinkering laboratories. To keep students comfortable and well, the campus provides a Sushrutha sick bay, RO-purified drinking water and a welcoming visitors’ lounge, while the Vidyanikethan outlet supplies books, stationery and uniforms at reasonable prices.

Believing that education extends beyond academics, the school runs a dedicated cultural block — Tanmayam — for Kuchipudi dance and Carnatic vocal and instrumental music. Equal importance is given to sport and fitness through a wide range of indoor and outdoor games and Taekwondo martial arts, helping students build confidence, discipline, leadership and teamwork.

To strengthen academic performance, the school follows effective learning practices such as remedial classes for additional support and fortnightly assessments to regularly evaluate progress.
