From an Anglo-Indian school in the Nizam State to one of the premier schools on Indian Railways.

What began as an Anglo-Indian school in the erstwhile Nizam State has become one of the largest and premier schools on Indian Railways — a journey of more than a hundred years.

RMHS emerged as an Upper Primary before coming under the management of South Central Railway, which oversees the school to this day.

    Founded in the Nizam era

    Established as an Anglo-Indian School in the erstwhile Nizam State — one of the earliest institutions of its kind in the region.

  2. Early years

    Growing as an Upper Primary school

    The school emerged as an Upper Primary, steadily earning the trust of families across South Lallaguda.

  3. Under the Railways

    Managed by South Central Railway

    The school came under the management of South Central Railway, anchoring it firmly within the Indian Railways education family.

  4. A century on

    Among the premier schools on Indian Railways

    Today RMHS is one of the largest and most respected railway schools — serving over 1,000 students from Classes 1 to 10.

    A modern campus, a timeless mission

    New labs, a cultural block, dining hall, sick bay and RO plant — a wave of renewal that keeps a 100-year-old promise thoroughly modern.
